Heart in the Game
Heart In The Game Foundation was created as a 501(c)3 in 2014. Founder Greer Firestone's daughter Grace suffered Sudden Cardiac Arrest in 2011 at age of 18. Grace was an elite athlete. There was no family heart history. We mandated Grace Firestone Act for Sudden Cardiac Awareness in 2014 and founded Heart In The Game. Over the past 8 years, we have screened over 3500 DE students and trained in CPR/AED over 8000. We are preparing legislation to strengthen The Grace Firestone Act. Our mission is to make Delaware the 'Heart Healthiest" state.
