Each ECG heart screening is interpreted by a pediatric cardiologist or cardiologist volunteering to serve on HITG's Medical Advisory Team. These are national experts specifically trained on how to read ECG heart screenings for athletes based on the International Criteria.
Students must be 10 - 23 years old to participate in our heart screening program.
Due to COVID-19, each participant will be required to wear a mask while being screened. If you have a temperature of 100 degrees or answer yes to any of the COVID-19 safety questions, we will have to turn you away and encourage you to see your doctor.

Your child’s heart should be screened at least every other year. Please continue to monitor your child’s heart health and contact his/her physician immediately if exhibiting any of the following warning signs and symptoms:
The cost per screen is $20.00. EKG's at the hospital or doctor's office begin at $150 and can go much higher. Would you agree to a small donation to help us continue Heart In The Game's mission to make Delaware the "Heart Healthiest" state? It would be greatly appreciated.
